Especially off-road Nissan Patrol will appear in Australia

Nissan Patrol Warrior for the Australian market

For the Australian market, a particularly off-road version of the Nissan Patrol will be developed, which will be called the Warrior. According to Carscoops, it is created by the local studio Premcar, which has already published the first teasers. A new modification will be built on the model of the Nissan Navara Pro-4X Warrior already developed for the country.

The first images show part of the off-road tire, the Warrior nameplate on the fifth door, and two exhaust pipes in front of the rear wheel arch.

Apparently, Premcar intends to modify the power unit in one way or another, although it will retain the standard characteristics. Nissan Patrol Warrior will be equipped with a 5.6-liter V8 developing 400 hp. and 560 Nm of torque.

However, the main changes will fall on the chassis. The SUV is promised a modified suspension and new wheels with “evil” rubber: as a result, Patrol should get increased ground clearance and enhanced off-road capabilities, although Premcar also mentions pluses for ride and handling.

Pickup Nissan Navara Pro-4X Warrior was introduced last summer. This modification is distinguished by new shock absorbers with off-road settings, an extended track and a redesigned appearance.
